Things about my town

I live in Hokitika. The things I like about my town is that we have a museum and it has dinosaur bones and gold. People used to mine for gold in the 1880's. The dinosaur bones look like crocodiles. We can go body boarding and surfing because there is a beach with medium waves. We have a concrete boat by the Hokitika Beach called the Tambo. There are tables on the boat where people can eat. I like to eat fish and chips on the boat.

3 Fun Facts about new zealand

1. In New Zealand we can talk 2 kinds of languages, English and Maori. I mainly speak English with some Maori. 2. Snakes are not born in New Zealand, which means there are no snakes in New Zealand. 3. In New Zealand most people own a lot of cars compared to other countries. There are 2.5 million cars for 4 million people.

Descriptive writing

I was learning to do writing by being descriptive. It was hard because I didn't know many descriptive words.

My biggest area I improved on was not asking the teacher  or some one that finished for help.

We were putting the hundreds board together and figuring out the code.  I looked for the top row so that I could make it easier to find out the digits.  Then I glued them together.

My biggest area I improved on    was not potting in the  writing.

Part whole addition making 10s

I was learning to sort my maths out by using a tens frame. My biggest area I improved on was losing one of my ten's frames so I had to start again. I am most proud of my effort in the new  doc I got and I finished it on Thursday 6 September 2018.
